Aedan

The firstborn of Corin and Eira (Journey), Aeden was raised to run the family business, a small caupona, or Inn, near the village of Caerwyn. He is a diligent worker and intelligent. He is almost always careful in his actions, but one rash decision changes the course of his life.

Cador

Second born to the family, and the biggest of all his siblings, Cador preferred to spend his time with the animals than with people. He resented the invaders that had come to his country, and wanted to stand against them. A well thought out plan that went awry seemed to ruin everything for him.

Maeli

Forced into a life of slavery at a young age, Maeli does not like being treated like an object that can be sold and traded at someone’s whim. She hated the young man who bought her and immediately sold her to his friend Drusilla (Journey). She realizes as she gets to know him, that he really isn’t as bad as she thought.

Lirra
