Corin

Corin grew up herding his father’s sheep. As he came of age he was given the responsibility to help protect the village as a warrior. His future was set, he was betrothed, he had a respected place in the village and he knew what he wanted to do. The arrival of the Iron Men from Rome changed his fate.

Eira grew up with Corin and had loved him since she was ten. When her father announced she would be marrying him, her life felt complete. She was going to marry her true love and live a happy life of keeping his home and having his children, until the arrival of Romans changed everything.

Maeli

Taken from her family and sold into slavery, Maeli seemed destined to live a life of servitude. Bought and then sold again, she felt like the world was determined to treat her like an object. She did not expect to fall in love with one of those people.
